Each year the North West Wine & Spirit association hold an annual ball to raise much needed funds for those in need.

2010 North West Wine & Spirit Association Benevolent Ball

The 2010 event was held at the Northern Benevolent Ball which was held at the Midland Hotel, Manchester on 19th November.
The tombola was completely emptied, auction prizes sold well with two lucky guests sharing the £1000 Stand for a Grand prize, which was sponsored by JF Hillebrand.
Guests enjoyed racing on the giant scalextric and fluffy bunny games and ended the evening dancing to Souled as Seen.
During the reception we had international specialists in the art of ‘contact juggling’, Calvos, manipulating crystal balls that glided, floated, danced and levitated surreally around their hands, arms and bodies and guests were mesmerised by their performance! After dinner Halo performed a stunning 10 minute light show.
Stuart Hall conducted the Auction as only he could – at 80 years old he is in fine fettle!! The total raised close to £20,000.
